Souverän® 805 Stresemann

The Foreign Minister of the Weimar Republic, Gustav Stresemann (1879-1929), was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926 along with the French colleague Aristide Briand, for his work of reconciliation between nations after the First World War.

Beside his extraordinary political career, Stresemann became famous for having created a new type of dress that was perfect for formal presentations and at the same time comfortable to work in the office.

A Stresemann liked to wear clothes in thin lines, and, as sometimes happens, a legend was born … suddenly people called “Stresemann” fountain pens striped Pelikan, who at the time were beginning to be appreciated in the world today, both clothes both pens bear his name.

To maintain this legend, Pelikan has created new writing instruments collection Souverän, characterized by elegant stripes in anthracite, calling them “Stresemann”.

The stem, with its stripes seemingly simple in anthracite, is made of cellulose acetate, obtained by a traditional process that requires an extremely intense.

For the black parts, finely turned, we used a high quality resin. The clip and the rings are finished in palladium. The nib is made of 18 carat gold, rhodium completely to get a silvery sheen. Every single writing instrument is assembled by hand and carefully inspected to meet the most stringent control policies. The precious series consists of piston fountain pen, ball pen and roller, each accompanied by a fine

case. The fountain pen is equipped with an exclusive bottle of ink Edelstein in coordinated color Onyx. Available nibs EF, F, M and B
