This edition features a red precious resin cap and barrel in reference to the red leather jacket worn by Dean in the film, while the pattern is inspired by the jeans he wore. The clip is a gun which pays tribute to his famous scene in the 1956 film “Giant”. The cap ring is engraved with one of James Dean’s most famous quotes: “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” The cone features an engraving of the coordinates of the James Dean Memorial.
La Canzone del Grappa€ 550.00 – € 990.00
A century after it was written, in the aftermath of the First World War, “Monte Grappa Tu Sei La Mia Patria” commands deep respect throughout Italy – but especially the region that is home to Montegrappa. Three major battles were fought by the Fourth Army at Grappa: in November-December 1917, in June 1918 and the third and bloodiest, the final Italian offensive, in October 1918.
Music composed by Army Capt. Antonio Meneghetti, on August 5, 1918 at Villa Dolfin di Rosà, for text prepared by General Emilio De Bono, Commander of the IX Corps. Its first words were written on the walls of a bombed house by Italian soldiers.
On the morning of August 24, 1918, in front of Villa Dolfin in the presence of the king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele III and the military authorities, the anthem was performed for the first time. At a time when Italy’s sovereignty is again under threat, its stirring words remind all Italians of the greatness of a country that has no equal for art, for culture, nor for an appreciation of how life and freedom should be cherished.
La Canzone del Grappa is a limited edition pen that commemorates this stirring, poignant hymn about the First World War and the Monte Grappa territory. Joining their skills are two celebrated brands, Montegrappa and Capovilla, respectively Italy’s most revered pen manufacturer and grappa distiller.
Montegrappa’s own centennial speaks volumes of the resourceful richness and intrinsic excellence of the region, while Capovilla is a proudly local company, with arguably the finest artisanal quality liquors in the area. To honour 100 years of the song, the collaborative project employs an authentic wooden crate housing a bottle of grappa from Capovilla, alongside a limited edition pen from Montegrappa and a bottle of ink, all suitably decorated in the spirit of the hymn. The grappa accompanying the pen is a special vintage, made purposely to commemorate the 100 years of “Monte Grappa Tu Sei La Mia Patria”.
La Canzone del Grappa features a silhouette informed by recent Montegrappa designs, a voluptuous shape with cap and barrel end fashioned from vintage-looking marble resin, accented with stainless steel trim. The remainder of the barrel is transparent, revealing the piston-filler inside, suggesting many thoughts, just as grappa, like the fine wines from which it ascends, hints at numerous aromas and tastes.
On top of the pen cap is the traditional 1912 logo, accompanied by the laser-cut historical Montegrappa logo on its body. The signature clip provides a sinuous movement when removed from or inserted into one’s pocket, abetted by the rotating-sphere in which it terminates, a hallmark of the brand. Uniquely, the metal construction of the piston inside the pen boasts a finely-detailed, laser-cut engraving of Villa Dolfin Boldù – the historical headquarters of the Capovilla distilling company.
La Canzone del Grappa is limited to 500 unique items, consisting of 100 fountain pens with a stainless steel nib, decorated with the Montegrappa filigree etching, 100 fountain pens with a 14K gold nib, also decorated with the Montegrappa filigree etching, and 100 rollerball pens. All are made in luscious “October Green” resin.
A further 200 fountain pens with a flexible 14K gold nib, 100 in Extra-Fine and 100 in Fine, decorated with the Montegrappa filigree etching, will be available in the stunning variegated “Memorial Black” resin.
Our selection includes only the solid gold nib versions.
John F. Kennedy Special Edition Burgundy€ 710.00 – € 915.00
Commemorating one of the most revered figures in modern history, the Special Edition John F. Kennedy makes symbolic references to the life of J.F. Kennedy in subtle design details. The burgundy-coloured precious resin refers to Kennedy’s famous Ivy League style and is inspired by his time at Harvard University. His initials “JFK” are engraved on the champagne-tone gold-coated fittings clip, and the three champagne-tone gold-coated cap rings stand for Kennedy’s three brothers. In a tribute to the national hopes and dreams embodied in Kennedy’s pet project, the Apollo space programme, the handcrafted 585 gold nib is engraved with the lunar module that landed on the moon in 1969. The Special Edition is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in precious resin.
The special collection is available as fountain pen with 14kt solid gold nib handcrafted with special engraving, twist ballpoint and rollerball with cap.
Mirage€ 120.00 – € 135.00
Visconti is a brand leader in the design and production of pens which are able to join an innovative and surprising way colors and shape, references to art and technological know-how in the treatment of color shades, such as the iconic Rembrandt and Van Gogh collections.
The Mirage collection makes a further step ahead:even its name declares that art is also a wonderful illusion, not just an imitation, that beauty can be a mirage, of which we can enjoy. Pen is made in a material, whose reflections, highlighted by the hollows which originate continuous light effects, create an elusive and illusive object, modern in its iridescent lightness: like a great artist Marcel Duchamp declared more than 50 years ago: “Let's enjoy with the beauty of the mirage, because this is what remains to us “.
This pen introduces, in addition to a new shape with a modern design, also two important innovations for the Visconti production:
• a new clip, whose manufacturing accentuates the three-dimensionality of the object
• the My Pen System is not on the cap, but on the bottom of the body, in order to leave in a full
view the style of the clip, which “cuts” the cap with its metal structure.

Writers Edition Homage to Homer Limited Edition€ 760.00 – € 1,005.00
This 2018 Writers Edition is dedicated to the great literary genius of the Greek poet Homer. The pen takes its main inspiration from the story of the Trojan horse. The overall shape is inspired by the horse, with the back and clip reflecting the spear. The matte black precious resin of the barrel and cap, combined with AU 750 champagne-tone gold coated fittings, echoes the Greek black figure pottery which was often decorated with scenes from Homeric poetry. The legendary spear of Achilles is the inspiration for the shape of the AU 750 gold coated clip while the helmet adorns the handcrafted AU 750 solid gold nib (in the size of the iconic Meisterstuck 149)as a fine engraving.
The strict form of the hexameter used by Homer gives the verse its firm structure. The finely engraved Greek meander frieze on the gold coated fittings of the pen is inspired by the six-foot structure of the hexameter.

Avatar€ 98.00 – € 148.00

Young people are precisely the market for whom Pineider has designed this affordable pen, whose rounded form and vibrant colours communicate the dynamic vitality of youth.

The Avatar collection, made in purest resin in four vibrant colours, comprises four different writing implements: a fountain pen, a rollerball pen, a ball-point pen and a propelling pencil.
Once again the clip is our interpretation of a goose quill, with a sophisticated compensation mechanism and a range that allows you to use it on any kind of material and thickness.

Heartwood Olive€ 350.00 – € 410.00
Montegrappa, Italy’s oldest manufacturer of fine writing instruments, is proud of its heritage and has honoured all manner of Italian cultural touchstones, from grappa production to soccer to the Tricolore. With the contemporary classic, the Fortuna pen, as its base, Heartwood pays homage to that most Italian of values: a love of organic materials and the gifts of Mother Nature.
As Heartwood pens explore the relationship between man and nature, a precious link that must never be undervalued,it was immediately apparent that real wood should be the material of choice for barrel and cap. Joining the initial three versions of the Heartwood pen, chosen to represent the range and variety of woods that hold special appeal for the connoisseur and the aesthete, is another wood of deep importance and universal meaning.
As much as any wood with a special significance for the great tradition of Italian woodworking, olive wood also embodies the essence of the Mediterranean. Its colour complements the hues of the teak, pear and walnut Heartwood pens that launched the series. It is the heart of the tree that produces the fruit which defines the region’s diet, which accounts for its inhabitants’ health and longevity. More relevant in this era is the greatest historical and literary import of the olive branch: it stands for peace.
With its light, golden-brown colour and fine grain, the Heartwood in olive exudes both timelessness and modernity.
The natural olive tree wood used for the caps and barrels is complemented perfectly by trim in satin stainless steel, its cool hardness contrasting with the wood’s soft, organic textures.
As with the existing Heartwood pens, each one the beneficiary of Italian excellence in working wood for furnishings, in boats and musical instruments, the Heartwood Olive will be offered as a fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint.
With one’s own personal olive branch always to hand, the newest Heartwood pen reminds us that – even in an age of wireless communications and high-tech materials – handwriting with instruments fashioned from elements provided by nature will always embody the finest qualities of humanity.
The Essence of Life!
Rembrandt 2018€ 130.00 – € 155.00
Visconti has taken inspiration from a famous painter of the XVII century: Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, better known as Rembrandt. Montegrappa Fortuna Blazer€ 335.00 – € 375.00
Montegrappa Blazer…. forged in fire
Inspiration comes to Montegrappa from a variety of sources and places and events and objects. All celebrate some aspect of life, and what enriches it. In the wake of the great success of the Montegrappa Mule line, inspired by a famous cocktail, they looked again at another favourite tipple, the Blue Blazer.
An enticing mix of scotch, boiling water and powdered sugar, the Blue Blazer earns its incendiary name from the theatre that accompanies it: the drink is set alight. Celebrating its 155th birthday this year, the Blue Blazer is said to be the first cocktail to undergo the touch of the flame. Most distinctively, the drink is prepared with two large tankards, between which the stream of flame travels.
The Montegrappa Blazer is based on the Fortuna shape, but with its cap and body made, appropriately, of fire-burnished stainless steel with a vintage-looking brushed silver trim. The polished steel surface of the pen barrel and cap basks in bluish, iridescent shades, just as a heated metal would do.
As a companion to the Mule, the Montegrappa Blazer will appeal to those who value authenticity, craft and a good, stiff drink. To assist in this pursuit, every Montegrappa Blazer pen will be delivered with a special Blazer tankard as a gift, as is traditionally used to prepare the drink and customized with the new logo.
The Montegrappa Mule Fountain pen has a stainless steel nib and uses a cartridge/converter filling system.
Italy’s first pen producer, Montegrappa, began manufacturing pens in 1912 in its factory in Bassano del Grappa in Italy. Utilizing natural celluloid and precious metals,Montegrappa combines traditional methods such as die-casting with more recent innovations as low-relief engraving to form their precious art objects. Whether Montegrappa use colors reminiscent of the master painters or ornamentation suggestive of Baroque palaces, the Italian heritage and romance is infused into each product.

M605 WHITE TRANSPARENT€ 285.00 – € 390.00
Souverän® 605 White – Transparent
Gracefully with a gentle appearance. That‘s the look of the new Special Edition Souverän 605 White-Transparent. Thanks to its tone-in-tone design it seems to be inconspicuous but it is absolutely not. The bright but not cold white colour shades underline the very modern interpretation of the true classic Souverän.
The white and partially transparent barrel is made of cellulose acetate, using a traditional process that is extremely work-intensive. For the white, finely turned parts, high-grade resin was used. The clip and rings are refined with a palladium coating and the completely rhodinized 14 carat gold nib, matches to the silver sheen of the other components. Even the inner parts that slightly shine through the white-transparent barrel of the fountain pen and the upper-part of the ballpoint pen harmonize perfectly with the white-silver look.
Every single writing instrument is mounted by hand and carefully checked to fulfill the strictest quality criteria.
The Souverän 605 White-Transparent is encased in a specially designed gift box. This elegant series will be available as a piston fountain pen and a ballpoint pen by mid of October 2017.
With the LAMY aion, Lamy is expanding its portfolio with a new writing instrument series in an innovative design. Technically structured and
consistently functional, the model epitomises LAMY design – yet also surprises with progressive details. The new series has been designed by
one of the most prestigious designers of the present day: Jasper Morrison.
A sleek, perfectly-proportioned body, a straight clip, a stainless-steel spring.
The new LAMY aion is this minimalist. Designed by the British industrial designer, Jasper Morrison, this is absolutely in harmony with his conviction that good design is maximally simple – yet, at the same time, maximally functional.
An attitude absolutely compatible with the design principles of the LAMY brand– principles it has used as a basis for the development of its writing instruments for over 50 years.
At the same time, the LAMY aion reveals an uncompromising modernity, which is especially visible in the details. For the first time, a Lamy fountain pen has been equipped with a series-exclusive, newly-formed nib. Jasper Morrison gave it an unconventionally-proportioned outline, thus giving the writing instrument an
avant-garde character. A distinguishing feature of the LAMY aion, and a real innovation in the production of writing instruments, is the ‘cast in one piece’manufacture, whereby the body and cap are each designed as closed, seamless components and have an innovative surface structure. The grip zone is matted and thus finely accented. Its puristic, externally-sprung stainless steel clip completes the formal overall concept. As little plastic as possible is used in the LAMY aion and it is manufactured from
all-metal. In order to realise the seamless design and the innovative surface finish of the LAMY aion, Lamy has developed new manufacturing processes. In a sophisticated multi-stage process, the aluminium housing elements are
formed by deep-drawing. The surface structuring is computer-controlled by robot-supported grinding. For its unique finish, the components of the LAMY aion are first brushed, stained, polished and, in the case of the grip, blasted and then finally anodised.
The LAMY aion will be available in black and olivesilver from autumn 2017. The
family of writing instruments includes fountain pens, ballpoint pens and rollerball

Writers edition 2017 Antoine de Saint-Exupéry€ 35.90 – € 920.00
The overall design and shape is inspired by his iconic Caudron Simoun plane and his famous novel “Night Flight”. Engravings on the barrel and cap show the sky as seen by Saint-Exupéry on the 1st of November 1929 at 23:00. As the director of the newly formed company Aeroposta Argentina S.A, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry conducted Aeroposta’s inaugural flight on 1 November 1929, flying from an airfield at Villa Harding Green to Comodoro Rivadavia. The fittings are inspired by the cockpit of his plane. The geographic positions of important cities in Saint-Exupéry’s life are engraved on the cone. The nib has an engraved star that recalls his most famous novel, “The Little Prince”. Body and cap in precious deep blue resin, metallic trims are paltinum plated.
The collection includes a ballpoint and a rollerball. Available a special brown ink bottle too.
Medici€ 425.00 – € 785.00
The Medici was an Italian banking family, political dynasty and later royal house during the first half of the 15th century in Florence.
Along with other families of Italy—such as the Visconti and Sforza of Milan, they inspired the birth of the Italian Renaissance.
They had a major influence on the growth of the Italian Renaissance through their patronage of the arts and humanism.
They would pay artists commissions for major works of art.
The Medici patronage had a huge impact on the Renaissance, allowing artists to focus on their work without having to worry about money.
A significant amount of the art and architecture that was produced in Florence at the beginning of the Renaissance was due to the Medici.
Early on they supported the painter Masaccio and helped pay the architect Brunelleschi to rebuild the Basilica of San Lorenzo. Other famous artists that the Medici supported include Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo da Vinci.
The Medici also supported science: the famous scientist Galileo Galilei, who also worked as a tutor for the Medici children.
Visconti and Medici path are very similar as patron of arts. Many ideas and collections from Visconti come from Florence history and blood.
It was just a matter of time that Visconti would have dedicated one of its collection to the Medici family.
The pen is faceted with eight sides like the baptistery of Florence.
The shape is made following the rules of Divine Proportion, codified from Leonardo da Vinci under the hegemony of the Medici family.
Unique is also the material, another innovation from Visconti; Acrosilk, that is a compound of Acrylic resin and Silk fibers.
The result is a fantastic glossy and luminescent effect with the deepness of colors of the antique celluloid.
The wooden color used it is a conscious choice and a tribute to the ancient luxury materials used in the princely Medici mansions.
All the metal parts are in solid sterling silver.
The ring is finally chiseled with the Symbol of the Medici family.
