Corsani Grey Octagonal
Our journey into the striped celluloid finds its epilogue with the latest spectacular creation. Once again in partnership with the Florentine company Visconti we have created a limited series in pure celluloid with grey rings. We started in 2014 by celebrating our 90th Anniversary with the Homo Sapiens model for the first time offered in celluloid. Three lucky editions followed in octagonal shape in grey, red, green and a very rare blue in a round version.
The Grey Octagonal maintains all the features that made the previous collections popular: vacuum power filler with double reservoir (Visconti patent), bayonet cap closure (hook safe system), 18Kt solid gold nib made in house by Visconti , transparent ink window with the engraving Corsani 1924, date of our birth.
The collection is limited to just 50 pieces due to the small amount of celluloid available. The most passionate are certainly aware that this precious and historical material has not been in production for years and only the reserves kept in the warehouses of Italian companies occasionally allow the creation of these masterpieces.
For this occasion we have added to the range of standard sizes (extra fine, fine, medium, broad and stub), two special nibs customized in the United States by the well-known nib master Mark Bacas. Medium hybrid architect and medium cursive smooth italic.
