Visconti celebrates his Florentine life by dedicating this collection of pens to the Medici family, one of the most important dynasties in Italian history. The Medici distinguished themselves for the political, economic and cultural weight exercised over Florence and above all for the passionate involvement in those intellectual adventures that they were Humanism and the Renaissance.
The Medici pen has eight facets such as the Florentine baptistery, a religious place that bears witness to a glorious past whose symbolic lily is chiselled on the stem ring.
The golden proportion regulates the forms of this writing instrument, which comes to life in a resin combined with bright silk fibers and in a color that is a silent and precious re-enactment of the exquisite Florentine mosaics in semi-precious stones, so present in the interior of the Medici residences.
The collection consists of a fountain pen with the patented vacuum filler system and fitted with a gold-plated 23 kt palladium nib (in sizes EF, F, M, B, and Stub 1.3), a rotating ballpoint pen and a cap roller with bayonet closure (Hook safe system)
