The sober minimalism of the Elmo 02 was a necessity in the 1920s, but the creativity of the company’s first technical director gave life to a model that it would surpass its virtues and survive the test of time.

decorative, represented, a century ago, an ingenious alternative to the use of more expensive components.
His formula still works today and allows Montegrappa to equip their Elmo 02 with professional performance at an enthusiast’s price. The iconic structure in resin and stainless steel evokes the distinctive angular lines of the Elmo 02. The brass pocket clip, with its grooves and its line that incorporates the characteristic features of Art Déco, brings back the panache of the 1920s .
The swirling colors of the Sorapis and Asiago resins give a relaxing break to the usual formality of the glossy black resin. The barrel, cap and grip section are made of resin, with two color options as alternatives to standard black.
Sorapis adds cobalt blue to a black and white base, while Asiago is based on red and olive highlights. The textures generated during the merger are random, making each segment completely unique
The Elmo 02 is available in three writing modes: cartridge / converter fountain pen (in six writing grades the fountain pens are equipped with a 6 mm stainless steel nib EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Stub 1.5 ), roller and ballpoint (of thinner diameter) with twist mechanism. A fantastic choice of fountain pens and even more fantastic customer service!
I ordered a beautiful Montegrappa fountain pen and was met by Stefano's fantastic, professional and respectful customer service. Stefano made sure I was informed about their annual leave and when he'd be able to ship my fountain pen (even though he was probably on leave himself!), which made me value the service even more.
The pen arrived on the day when I was told it would, very well packed, with a gratis ink bottle and a pen pouch to match my lavander fountain pen. I even got a hand written note from Stefano, which is just amazing, there's not much more you can do to show personal appreciation of a customer- see the photo.
I will shop from the Corsani shop again for sure, given the great choice of fountain pens they have and knowing I'm safe in their hands as a customer.
I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants top products and top customer service!
