MZG – Ibrida Special Edition 2024- TENEBRE

In the year 2024 we celebrate our centenary of our historic shop! We are more than happy to re-propose our latest success in collaboration with Leonardo Officina Italiana: La Grande Ibrida. The idea was born with the intention of using the smaller pieces deriving from the turning of precious, rare materials such as acetate of cellulose, a material that needs an expert level of craftsmanship, to create a pen that combines three distinct materials in its elements: the acetate for the section, the piston knob and the cap rings, black resin for the body and titanium for the nib. The pen model – the unmistakable Leonardo Momento Zero Grande – uses the #8 size titanium nib with ebonite feeder made in house which provides a smooth writing experience with a subtle character. The metal finishes are in yellow gold plating and even the nib, naturally dark matt, is treated with a matte gold finish to match the tone. Filling system is the high capacity Leonardo piston made in house. Each color we propose is nearly unique, available only as one or two pieces like this dark black with sparks of white we dubbed TENEBRE:

Other colors will be added as production allows. Given the particularity and rarity of the material, very few pieces will be made in a special series in quantities strictly dependent on the availability of the same. Whatever you should find not available please make an inquiry, send us an email, it might just take a few weeks.

⚠️ Pens with special nibs (CSI F, CSI M and Architect) usually require longer processing times. Therefore, those who place this type of order will be personally informed about the delivery times.
