The Origin Collection – Doué Classique Green

One hundred years after its appearance in 1924, the Meisterstück line is the most famous writing instrument of all the Montblanc collections. The name, “masterpiece” in German, is both a work of art and an important piece of history.
Montblanc drew fully from its archives to create the Origin Collection, a true tribute to the Meisterstück and its centenary history. The collection draws inspiration from early designs found in Montblanc’s archives, as well as design features featured on the earliest Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a modern flair.

The Doué Classique model, in precious green resin, is made with gold-plated finishes. The special green lacquer cap is inspired by the historic Art Déco motif found among the archive pieces, as is the clip with a vintage 1920s shape. Furthermore, the cap bears the historic Meisterstück logo laser engraved, while the head with the iconic logo is green. The design on the Au750 gold nib is also dedicated to the centenary of the line. Available as a fountain pen with cartridge/converter filling, as a capped rollerball or as a twist ballpoint pen.
