A new addition to Montegrappa’s Vintage Class is Venetia, available in two colors from late October 2022.
The name, in honor of the ancient city of Venice, joins Brenta, Elmo 01 and Elmo 02 in our new Vintage Class offering which revives an archival form of the 1920s, with an equally frugal use of metal components. Once again, the exuberant retro character is achieved with the expressive resin coating.
Venetia has a body that stands out with the ends tapering to bullet point. The handle section also features a bold industrial design, with an innovative graduated step and a flared profile. Venetia is made of resin and uses gold-plated brass to recreate our famous tumbler clip and an elegant thin band. The Ambigram logo is diamond engraved on the resin above the hood band and the historical roots of the silhouette are underlined by two period colors: Black and Lagoon Green. The retro Touring logo is diamond engraved on the barrel. This historic logo has appeared in many of our editions of the History Series and recalls the first recorded use of the Montegrappa name on a writing instrument.
The collection consists of a ballpoint, roller and cartridge / converter fountain pen with filigree stainless steel nib in the following sizes: EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Stub 1.5. All nibs are 6mm and all variations are supplied in our new Vintage Class cardboard sleeve.
