The name of the collection is shown on the front of the ring to enhance the link between Visconti and the city of Florence. The design on the remaining sides of the ring, a typical Florentine decoration with four lobes, is inspired by the bronze tiles by Brunelleschi and Ghiberti on the north door of the Baptistery of Santa Maria del Fiore, with the addition of the Visconti “V” from the Visconti logo.
