An exceptional cellulose acetate produced in the 90s by Mazzucchelli—jealously kept for us by Leonardo Officina Italiana—is finally seeing the light of day. Amber highlights and zebra patterns alternate with veiled transparencies, creating a striking design that evokes the wild, incontaminated atmosphere of Africa.

Namibia’s famous Caprivi Strip is a lush, green, and wildlife-rich ecosystem—a true paradise. Its enduring allure and enchanting colors inspired the name of this exclusive edition.

The Poliedrica collection—one of Leonardo Officina Italiana’s most original creations—showcases its distinctive shapes to highlight the exotic tones of this fascinating, unknown acetate. Beyond the material itself, two key technical features enhance the collection’s uniqueness: a #8 size nib (never before used on this model) and a piston-filling mechanism. Incorporating these features into the complex form of the Poliedrica model required a creative leap that complemented Leonardo Officina Italiana’s already remarkable manufacturing versatility.
