Yamanaka Onsen is a small hidden corner in Ishikawa Prefecture where, in the silence of hot springs and walks in the woods, the tradition of wood carving and precious “urushi” lacquering has been handed down for centuries, a patient and delicate ritual.
From the symbolic encounter between Bologna and Yamanaka Onsen, LA DOTTA Yamanaka Onsen was born, a fountain pen that becomes a bridge between cultures, languages and traditions.
Covered in the refined urushi Tamenuri lacquer, in the warm wood brown tone, the pen breathes depth and transparencies, like a forest at sunset that changes light with every step.
