The new version of the Opera Master collection is inspired by the fascinating landscapes of the African savannah, where lions, zebras, gazelles and elephants dominate the primitive silence of unspoiled nature.
The landscape of the savannah changes with the seasons passing from a predominance of shades of yellow that characterize the dry period, to the thousand shades tending to brown, typical of the rainy season. Opera Master Savanna unites the two souls of this extraordinary land taking up the same shades of color in the barrel and in the cap. This oversize version of the iconic Opera collection features the bayonet closure patented by Visconti and, in the fountain pen version, the iconic Power Filler Double reservoir filling system. For the realization of this demonstrator pen are semi-transparent yellow, brown and white acrylic resins were chosen which, mixed together, they recreate the colors of the immense natural reserves of the savannah. The resin components are made with the turning technique to guarantee a highly finished result. Both the barrel and the cap are characterized by a play of facets and grooves that favor a comfortable grip. There closure is characterized by the iconic bayonet system patented by Visconti. The iconic Visconti clip inspired by Ponte Vecchio is finished in palladium and subsequently highlighted by a bright yellow enamel that matches the shades of the pen. All the hardware is made of brass and subsequently finished in palladium. The polishing is done by hand in our Florentine laboratories, giving the pen a unique and long-lasting shine.
